We are seeking an Entry-Level Residential/Commercial Service Technician to join our Service Team. This role is ideal for individuals with limited field experience, or those currently enrolled in or completing their second year of an HVAC technical school program. Hourly Wage – $17 – $20
What You’ll Do:
As a Service Technician, you will:
-Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC equipment according to manufacturer standards
-Perform scheduled maintenance and testing on equipment covered by service contracts
-Use diagnostic and measuring tools to evaluate equipment and identify necessary repairs
-Record and report service needs to the Service Manager
-Complete all required paperwork, including time cards, check sheets, and parts usage
-Communicate regularly with the Service Manager regarding schedules and updates
-Deliver excellent customer service and represent CCS professionally on every job
-Participate in on-site owner training sessions
-Rotate on-call service shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
-Monitor and maintain assigned tools and inventory
-Follow all safety guidelines to protect yourself, co-workers, customers, and property
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
-A valid, insurable driver’s license
-An EPA/CFC refrigerant certificate (NATE certification preferred but not required)
-Physical ability to perform job duties, including working in outdoor weather and temperature extremes
-Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety
-Ability to work well with team members, customers, and management
-A willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training and continued education
